The TowerMajor Arcana XVI
The Tower
sudden change · revelation · upheaval · breakthrough · liberation
Today not everything may go to plan, and that is okay. Whatever falls away is making room for something more honest and more stable.
⬆️ Upright
Lightning strikes a tall tower on a rocky peak and knocks the crown off its roof, flames burst from the windows and two figures tumble through the dark air. The Tower is sudden change that shakes up whatever was built on shaky ground, whether that is a plan, a belief or an illusion. It is uncomfortable, no doubt, but it clears space and lets fresh air in. What remains afterwards is real, and that is exactly where something better can be built.
⬇️ Reversed
Reversed, you may sense a change coming and try to hold it off, or the upheaval happens inside you as a sudden insight. Either way, resisting only makes it louder. Let go of what cannot hold and trust what is left standing.
💞 Love
A surprising revelation or an honest talk can stir things up, and some truths finally get said out loud. Afterwards the air is clearer, and you can see what is truly solid between you.
💼 Career
Plans may change suddenly, and a structure you relied on might need rethinking. Treat it as a chance to rebuild on a stronger foundation, with everything you have learned so far.
👁 Lightning knocked his crown off. Mine falls off all by itself. I call that efficiency.
