Is Mercury retrograde right now?
No. Mercury is moving direct right now.
The next retrograde starts on October 24, 2026.
About three times a year Mercury appears to move backwards across the sky. It does not, of course. Earth is overtaking it on the inside lane, and from here that looks like reverse gear.
In astrology this stretch is famous for tangling everything Mercury rules: messages, contracts, tech, travel and misunderstandings. Nebu’s advice is simple. Read messages twice before sending, and make a backup. Neither has ever hurt anyone.
