The Hanged Man

surrender · new perspective · pause · letting go · patience

Today the best move might be no move at all. Pause, flip your perspective and see what becomes clear once you stop pushing.

⬆️ Upright

A man hangs upside down by one foot from a living tree, his hands behind his back, his face calm and a golden halo around his head. He is not suffering, he is seeing the world from a brand new angle and finding insight where others only see a standstill. The Hanged Man asks you to pause, surrender and give up control for a while. Sometimes the answer only arrives once you stop pushing and let things hang for a moment.

⬇️ Reversed

Reversed, you may be stuck in waiting mode, delaying a decision or resisting a pause that would do you good. Ask yourself honestly whether you are waiting for clarity or simply avoiding it. Then move.

💞 Love

Look at your relationship from a different angle, perhaps even from the other person's point of view. Patience and fewer expectations open doors that pressure keeps firmly shut.

💼 Career

A project may be on hold for now, and no amount of pushing will speed it up. Use the pause to rethink your approach, gather ideas and prepare, rather than forcing progress that is not ready to happen.

👁 He has been hanging there for centuries and insists it is about perspective. I respect the commitment.
